昨今では音響設備が整っている会場も増え、音響設備について特別に準備しなくても困らないようになってきました。とはいえ、設備が整っているからと安心していると、当日慌てることの多い音響設備について、今回は知っておくと便利なことをまとめてみました。

### 音響設備・確認のポイント

会場の音響設備を確認する前に、そもそもどのように音響を使いたいのかを整理してみましょう。

　- 誰が  
　- どこで  
　- どのタイミングで  
　- 何を　(マイク、BGM、PCから音を出したいのか？など)

のポイントでまとめると良いと思います。特に1つのイベントでいくつもセッションがある場合は、セッションごとにその情報をまとめるようにしましょう。

特にマイクの利用については、設備や音響業者さんに依頼をしている際は、予め注文した数より、実際に使用する数が多くなってしまい、用意してくれている予備のマイクを利用しているような場合も多いのです。

大きなイベントやワイヤレスマイクを利用する場合、他の場所で利用する分との周波数調整などがあり、むやみに追加で利用できない場合もあるので事前に計画をたてておきましょう。ステージ上のマイク位置などを流れに沿って図解するなどしておくと分かり易いです。

 

### マイクの種類

イベントで使用できるマイクには、主に以下のようなものがあります。 

　- ハンドマイク　　　(有線/ワイヤレス）  
　- ピンマイク　　　　(ワイヤレス)  
　- ヘッドセットマイク(ワイヤレス)

何が準備可能で、何を利用するのかを確認しましょう。特に複数の方が登壇する場合、人によって卓上型のマイクが良い、質疑応答を組み込むためにワイヤレスマイクが必要、デモンストレーションがあるのでヘッドセットが良い、身振り・手振りを加え、動き回るのでピンマイクのワイヤレスが良い...など好みがある場合があります。また、パネルディスカッションの様に同時に複数の方が登壇する場合、2人で一つのマイクを利用する場合など、2人の間にマイクをテーブルの上に置く形でセッティングすることが多いです。その場合、本番中にテーブルに置く際に「ゴト」っと音が出ないようにスポンジなどのクッションを用意することをお忘れなく。

 

### 音のチェック

意外と本番でバタバタしてしまうのが、本番中の音の確認・調整のタイミングです。

事前に音量を確認していても、人が入った状態では環境が異なってきますので、本番が始まってから音量等を調整する事はよくありますよね？その際、スタッフ間でトランシーバーを使用している場合は調整が簡単な場合も多いですが、トランシーバーを利用していないケースでは、調整者と合図を決めておくなど、誰が確認し、誰が調整するか、連絡手段・ルート・合図などを事前に決めておくと、スムーズに調整ができます。
