2015年12月17日、豊洲PITで開催された「Morning Pitch Special Edition 2015」。今年はテーマを「世界に挑戦するベンチャー特集」として8つの企業が登壇し、各社5分間のプレゼンテーションを行いました。今回はこの様子を登壇順にご紹介いたします。

### Morning Pitchとは

毎週木曜日朝7時から開催している、ベンチャーと大企業の事業提携を生み出すことを目的とした、ベンチャー企業のプレゼンテーションイベント。2013年から開催し、130回を超える開催、累計600名のベンチャー企業が登壇しました。Morning Pitch Special Editionは、毎年年末に開催する特別版です。

遂にイベントをまとめた書籍も出版され、会場でも販売されていました。

まずはオープニングからブレイクダンス世界チャンピオンのダンスで、スペシャル感を演出するとともに、今回のテーマが、「世界に挑戦するベンチャー企業特集」という事で、ベンチャー企業の中からも世界チャンピオン級のベンチャーを日本から生むべく選ばれた7社のピッチがスタートしました。

セブンドリーマーズはいびきや無呼吸を防ぐ世界初の鼻腔挿入デバイス「ナステント」や完全オーダーメイドの高品質・高性能ゴルフシャフトを販売。2016年度内にはCEATECでも話題になった全自動洗濯物折り畳み機「ランドロイド」の発売を予定しています。この「ランドロイド」が実用化されれば、人が一生に洗濯物をたたみ収納に要する時間【375days】が節約できるそうです。今年のCEATECでも大きな話題になったプロダクトですので、ご存じの方も多いのではないでしょうか？

一見、それぞれの事業の関連性はあまりないように見えましたが、共通するのは「測定の技術」から生み出される課題解決と「世の中にないモノを創り出す」という言葉からは熱いパッションが感じられました。

 生体認証にフォーカスした画像解析技術とビッグデータを活かし、多人数でも高速に個人認証できる技術を開発したそうです。物がつながるIOTから「あなたが世界につながる時代」のIOP（Person）という言葉はとても印象的で、新しい世界の訪れを予感させてくれました。

腕に巻くだけでゲーム内の触感も得られる触感型ゲームコントローラ「UnlimitedHand」はゲームにとどまらず、今まで伝承が難しかった琴などの技術の伝承に応用できる可能性があり、会場の大きな注目を集めていました。

日本人の3人に1人はがんになり、その誤診率は約10-30%であるとも言われているとのこと。国立がん研究センターと手を組むことにより、世界で最も精度の高い診断ソフトウェアの開発に取り組んでいるそうです。がんの誤診率がより低くなる未来がくる日も近いかもしない、そんな大きな可能性が感じられたプレゼンテーションでした。

安定のテラモータース。新興ベンチャーというより、世界に挑戦している新鋭企業としての貫録すら感じられるプレゼンを行った徳重代表は2年前にプロジェクト消失という挫折を味わったが、世界で勝てる日本の会社をつくるという夢のため自ら東南アジアを駆け巡った話など、終始、体験談、勢いのある話し方に観衆も聞き入っていました。

実際に事業も順調で、今年の売り上げ着地見込がXX億円とか！

中古の建設機械のオンラインマーケットプレイスを提供している企業ですが、そのオンラインマーケットへの出品は1400台以上もあるそうで、中には2億円相当の機械もあるとか。特に日本の建設機械は日本でつくられても使われる期間が短いため品質が良く、新興国でもとても人気だそうです。高額商品のAmazonになるというビジョンを力強く語っていました。

中村友哉代表は、小型衛星を利用して宇宙をビジネスとして活用する話はスケールが大きく、具体的なマーケットや競合差別化など、すぐにはイメージできませんでしたが、衛星事業の競合はNASAや軍事産業の出身者が多く、大学出身の同社はコスト感や民間への利用方法など、根本的に違う考えで進めるため十分にマーケットはあると考えているとのこと。

 

そして審査結果発表。

今回から導入されたオーディエンス賞は、H2Lの“Unlimited Hand”。なんとこの賞はH2Lにとって、初めてもらう賞だそうです。会場からは大きな拍手が沸き起こりました。

 

そして栄えある最優秀賞は…テラモーターズ！！

徳重代表の話の迫力はもちろん自信に満ち溢れたプレゼンテーションも素晴らしかったですし、何より「日本のベンチャーとしてのプライド」、「ピュアな熱い想い」などの言葉がちりばめられたプレゼンは心動かされるものがあったと思います。 

今回は7社の代表の方々が登壇なさっていましたが、どの企業も大きな夢を追いかけたベンチャー企業の鏡だなと感じました。
