以前に比べ、動画の撮影や編集、ホスティングは簡単にできるようになりました。それに伴い、動画を活用したマーケティング施策も積極的におこなわれるようになってきています。

イベント（企業イベントやセミナー、展示会など）における動画の活用も例外ではありません。では、具体的にどのようなシーンで活用できるのでしょうか？

### 動画はイベント前から活用できる

イベントで動画というと、本番当日の様子を撮影し後から公開することが多いですが、実はイベント開催前からフル活用することで集客に貢献できる可能性もあります。ここでは、イベントがはじまる前、イベントの最中、イベント終了後の3つのフェーズで、どのような動画を活用できるのか例を挙げてみます。

> - イベント主催者やキーパーソン（登壇者など）からのメッセージ動画
> - 出展者からのメッセージ動画
> - 作りこんだイベント告知動画
> 
> **イベント開催中**
> 
> - 会場のライブ感が伝わる動画（会場の中を歩いてみた様子など）
> - 講演のハイライト動画
> - 出展者のインタビュー動画
> - 講演のライブ配信
> 
> **イベント開催後**
> 
> - 各講演の様子をそのまま記録した動画
> - イベントの様子のサマリー動画
> - 主催者からの御礼動画

イベント前の動画活用は、そのイベントの認知と集客が主な目的となります。初めてそのイベントに参加する人は、そのイベントがどういうものなのか、どんな内容を見たり聞いたりすることができるのかを知りたいのは当然です。文字だけではなかなか表現できない、イベントの雰囲気や盛り上がり感を伝えるには、動画が適しています。また、Facebook広告などでこの動画を広告クリエイティブとして使い、ターゲットにわかりやすくリーチすることもできます。

イベント中の動画公開は、2日間や3日間など、複数日開催されるイベントでは、初日に会場の様子を動画で記録し公開することで、翌日以降の集客につながることがあります。運営もあるのでなかなか動画に手がまわらないこともあると思いますので、写真の方が効率が良ければ写真でも良いと思いますが、よりライブ感が伝わるのは動画です。また、最近多いのは、イベントに参加したいのに遠方のため来場できない、都合が合わないという方に向けた、講演動画のライブ配信です。クオリティを担保したライブ配信は専門的な設定や技術が必要になるため、場合によっては外部サービスを利用する必要があります。

イベント後は、イベントをワンタイムで終わらせることなく最大限活用することを意識すると良いと思います。イベント後、公開できる講演の様子などをアーカイブ化し、閲覧可能な状態にするイベントも増えてきました。こうすることで、イベントが開催されたタイミングでは興味のなかった方でも、後日興味が湧いた時に的確に情報を提供することができます。

 

### 手軽に動画を公開するには

こうした動画を費用をかけず、気軽にアップロードするにはいくつかの方法があります。

- **Facebook ページで直接投稿する**  
  自社やイベントのFacebook ページがある場合は、そこに直接動画を投稿するのが楽な方法です。手軽なので、スマートフォンで撮影した動画などもすぐにアップロードできるのが魅力です。
- **YouTube などの動画共有サイトにアップロードし、リンクをシェアしたり動画を自社サイトに埋め込む**  
  動画をストックしておきたい場合は、動画共有サイトにアップロードするのが良いでしょう。動画単体で話題となり、共有を通して拡がる可能性もあります。また、自社サイトで動画を載せたい場合は、自社で動画をホスティングするよりも、こうした動画共有サイトを利用した方がコストを抑えることができます。
- **Dropbox などのオンラインストレージサービスにアップロードし、リンクをシェアする**  
  PDFファイルの資料などもあわせてアップロードしておける利点があります。動画共有サイトと比べると、一般的に動画の共有や拡散は期待できません。

自社内で動画のホスティングができない場合は、上記のようなサービスを利用すると、無料またはほとんど費用をかけずに公開することができます。

動画をきちんと作りこみたい、動画の閲覧状況をトラッキングしたい、動画の閲覧後資料請求への導線を作りたなど、マーケティング施策のより重要なコンテンツとしてその動画を活用したい場合は、外部の動画ソリューションを提供する企業へ相談する方法もあります。
