現在日本では、年間で規模の大小、有料無料、様々なジャンルのイベントが開催されており、2013年におけるイベント市場規模は3兆8374億円(※1)となります。この巨大市場で参加者が"参加して良かった"と感じることのできたイベントはどれくらいでしょうか。イベントに参加したことがある人であれば、少なからず1度は"参加しなくても良かった"とネガティブな反応をしたことがあるでしょう。

今回は、以前掲載した"[イベントの6W2H](https://info.eventregist.com/weblog/6w2h_0)"を補足する形で、共通して言える良いイベントの条件とは何か？を考えます。

 

良いイベントの条件として、ここでは3つのキーワードをご紹介したいと思います。

### ①：Benefit

参加メリットが事前に参加者へ提示されていることを指します。

参加者が申込前に、どんなイベントであるかを把握し、想像したものと一致すれば、多くの場合、"参加して良かった"とポジティブな反応を頂けると思います。

そのためには、イベント概要や告知の際、"どんなイベントなのか"、"何を得ることが出来るのか"といったイベントに参加することで得られるメリットの提示が重要となります。

### ②：Networking

イベントに関わる全ての人とコミュニケーションが可能なことを指します。

例えば、登壇者に気軽に質問や雑談が出来る交流会が用意されていることは、非常に重要となります。セッションでは、伝わりきらない言葉の熱量や話し手の表情を感じ取ることが出来るからです。また、参加者同士でも様々な背景を持った人と出会え、イベント開催中のワンタイムではない、人々のつながりのスタート地点にもなります。

### ③：Specialty

参加することでしか、体験することの出来ない内容を指します。

例えば、インターネットが普及した現在では、多くの情報を確認し、学ぶことが可能となっています。しかし、参加者が求めているのは、インターネットにまだない情報や人々が持っているオリジナルの体験談となります。

参加者がイベントに求めている内容を理解しどのように開催するかは、イベント開催の基本となりますが、意外と実行できないことが多いと思います。
