日本生活科・総合的学習教育学会が主催する『第32回全国大会・神奈川大会』が、2023年6月17日（土）・18日（日）の2日間にわたって、神奈川県の相模原エリアで開催されました。３年ぶりとなる対面による公開授業やシンポジウムに加え、オンラインでも配信されたハイブリット型の本学会の開催にあたって、「EventRegist（イベントレジスト）」をご導入いただいています。 お取り組みの背景にあった課題とEventRegistの活用方法、そして参加者からのご感想について、イベント運営を担当された、相模原市立富士見小学校の副校長 島﨑氏にお話を伺いました。     **--- 日本生活科・総合的学習教育学会はどのような目的で活動されているのでしょうか。** 小学校低学年を対象にした「生活科」や、小学校中学年以上を対象にした「総合的な学習の時間」における、“新しい教育のあり方”を追究し創造することを目的としている学会です。会員の約7割を現職教員が占めており、そのほとんどが「生活科」「総合的な学習の時間」を指導しています。   **--- 毎年6月に開催されている全国大会は、どのような目的で開催されているのでしょうか。** 全国から現場の教職員が集まる全国大会は、よりよい実践づくりのための情報収集の場として位置付けられています。毎年全国各地の教職員がもち回りで2日間開催しており、1日目に各開催地の優れた授業実践に学ぶための「公開授業」と「研究協議」を取り入れ、2日目に最新の情報収集や、生活科・総合的学習の原点を確認するための講演・シンポジウムなどが企画されることが通例です。 第32回目の全国大会は、神奈川県の相模原エリアで開催され、大会テーマに「『はやぶさ』生誕の地から つながり合う学びの創造」を掲げました。新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大によって、新しい生活様式に沿った変革が求められた結果「つながり」の在り方を社会全体で見直す必要に迫られています。 そこで「生活科」や「総合的な学習の時間」が、予測困難で正解のない時代を生き抜くための能力をどのように育成していくべきかを、本大会で議論していくことになったのです。 広島・三原大会の頃は、まだまだ新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大が続いていた時期だったため、オンラインとオンデマンドによる非対面での開催でした。前回は私は運営側ではなかったので、広島・三原大会を担当された方から、反省点を含む引き継ぎを受けました。 その中で最も大きな反省点が、参加の申込み方法にGoogleフォームを採用したことです。参加者情報はデータで取得こそできますが、すべて手作業で処理することになったそうです。参加費の支払いは、申込み後に指定口座へ入金してもらう方法だったため、参加者と支払履歴を一つ一つ照合する必要があり、とても大変だったと思います。 また、参加者への連絡にも苦労したようです。Googleフォームで収集したメールアドレス宛にアナウンスのメールを一斉送信したり、オンライン講義への参加方法の連絡のために、その都度メールアドレスを手作業で整理して送信したりと、アナログな対応が必要だったと聞いています。 **--- EventRegistと比較検討したツールやサービスについて教えてください。** 私自身、参加者が1,000人を超える大規模なイベントの運営に携わった経験はありませんでした。そこでまずは、学会運営の実績がありイベント運営を一任できる、いくつかの旅行代理店に相談してみましたが、予算に見合いませんでした。 そこで、自分たちだけで全国大会を開催することになり、イベントページの作成や参加者を管理できる機能、支払い機能が実装されているツールを導入することになりました。その際大きく2点を重視しました。 まず一つが、導入後のサポート体制です。電話やメールでのサポートや、過去の実績などからアドバイスをいただきたかったのです。 もう一つが、今回は7つの会場で、複数の公開授業が同時並行で開催されるため、公開授業ごとに申込数を管理できるタイムテーブル機能です。このタイムテーブル機能の活用方法や設定方法について、サポートいただきたいと考えていました。 無料で使用できるツールも検討しましたが、重視していた要件である「タイムテーブル機能」が実装されていること、手厚くサポートいただけることから、安心してお任せできるEventRegistの導入を決定しました。   --- 【本イベントでご利用いただいたプレミアム機能】 [タイムテーブル](https://support.eventregist.com/ja/knowledge/timetable) [お知らせメール](https://support.eventregist.com/ja/knowledge/add-edit-notification-email) 任意の内容、任意のタイミングで、チケットごとに申込者へのお知らせメールを送信できる機能です。 今回のイベントでは、オフライン・オンラインの参加方法に応じた異なるご案内を、複数回に分けて配信されました。また、リマインドメールとしても活用されました。 --- **--- EventRegistの導入とイベント開催は、どのように進行しましたか。** 開催は6月ですが、どの学校でも人事異動があるため、4月にならなければ公開授業の内容や担当者が決まりません。そのため、4月以降に急ピッチで準備を進めていきました。申込みフォームをうまく作ることができるのか心配でしたが、事前にご相談に乗っていただいたおかげで、スムースに進められています。 申込みフォームでは、ケータリングするお弁当の数を把握したり、会場ごとの人数を管理したりと、様々な工夫をしています。また、申込み後の案内メールとして、イベント当日の受付方法に関する注意事項や、オンラインでの参加方法を「お知らせメール」機能で一斉送信しています。 また、今回はオフラインとオンラインのハイブリッド形式で開催のため、オンライン参加の方には別途、公開授業の様子を動画で視聴できることをご案内しました。会場かオンラインかの参加方法の違いだけではなく、公開授業ごとの参加者情報や懇親会参加の可否など、様々なカテゴリでデータを取り出すことができた点も高評価です。   **--- EventRegistの導入によって、どのような成果が得られましたか。** 今回の神奈川大会の参加者数は、関係者を含めて現地参加が約1,400名、オンライン参加が約70名で、例年以上の参加者数を記録しました。懇親会はとても熱気があり、やはりコロナ禍の3年間、対面での学会開催ができなかったことに対するモヤモヤが溜まっていたんだろうな、と感じました。 そして、参加の申込み状況が本当に分かりやすく、これだけ多くの参加者を管理することができたのは、EventRegistのおかげだと思っています。申込み時に決済を行う仕組みのため、重複申込みによる支払いトラブルも起きていません。また、すべての会場でEventRegistの「主催者用アプリ」を使用し、QRコードでチェックインを行いましたが、現場でのトラブルは1件もなかったと報告を受けています。 当日の受付がとてもスムースに進んでいる様子を見て、他の実行委員も驚いており、「EventRegistを導入してよかったね」という声が多くありました。懇親会の会場でも「お知らせメール」機能でお送りした、参加方法のご案内メールのおかげで「事前に大会イメージが沸いて、安心して参加できた」という感想をいただきました。   **--- 神奈川大会を振り返って、オフラインとオンラインのハイブリット開催の良さについて、どのように感じていますか。** 「コロナ禍だから無理」と諦めるのではなく、まさに”ウィズコロナ”という言葉のとおり、コロナ禍でどうすれば学会を開催できるかを探る中で、今回ハイブリット開催となりました。 参加者の中には、直前に出席できなくなってしまった方もいたのですが、オンラインでも視聴可能とご案内することで、無事に参加いただくことができました。このような、イベント参加への柔軟さと間口の広さが、ハイブリッド開催のメリットだと感じています。   **--- 来年以降の全国大会における展望をお聞かせください。** 2024年は新潟での開催となり、私は運営に関わりませんが、今回の会場に新潟大会実行委員会の方々が来場され、受付の様子などを参考にされていました。また、EventRegistの操作方法を含めた神奈川大会の資料を作成して、引き継ぎました。今回の神奈川大会の成功とノウハウが、今後の全国大会で活きていけば幸いです。 熱い思いを心に秘めた教員の方々が日本全国から集まり、「教育の在り方」を議論し学び合う本学会は、まさしく日本の教育にとって意義のある大切な機会だと感じます。コロナ禍では多くのイベントがオンライン開催に舵を切り、新たなイベントのスタイルが確立されましたが、今回の神奈川大会のお話を伺い、改めて対面で言葉を交わすことの良さを再確認しました。 また神奈川大会では、相模原エリアの複数の学校で公開授業が実施されました。イベント運営の経験者でも、離れた複数拠点での同時開催を管理するのは、実は簡単なことではありません。今回の主催者様は、大規模なイベント運営未経験ながらも、タイムテーブル機能を活用いただくことで、EventRegistがイベントの成功に貢献できたことを、嬉しく思っています。
