印刷業界最大級の展示会『Horizon Smart Factory 2021』が、2021年10月18日～22日に、来場者のあるオフラインイベントとして開催されました。  
当イベントのプラットフォームとして「EventRegist」を導入いただきましたので、企画・運営を担当された株式会社ホリゾンのコーポレートデザイン部 ソリューションサポート課 大津氏にお話を伺いました。

**--- Horizon Smart Factory 2021 開催の目的を教えてください。**

弊社ホリゾンは、印刷の製本関連機器、製本加工断裁、関連機器を製作しているメーカーです。国内では、デジタル印刷向け製本機としてはシェアナンバーワンで、世界でも100カ国を対象に販売を続けております。印刷業界内で大変支持をいただいている背景から、一昨年より、一年に一回、イベントを開催しております。

2019年の開催時には、印刷関連機器メーカー9社に協賛いただき、共同イベントとして行いましたが、昨年2020年からは、琵琶湖の本社工場に新設した「ホリゾンイノベーションパーク」というショールームで、展示、工場見学、セミナーを自社イベントとして開催しております。昨年は「ホリゾンイノベーションパーク」のグランドオープンだったので、大々的に開催したかったのですが、新型コロナウイルスの影響で小規模なものとなりました。

今年は、新型コロナウイルスの状況が落ち着いてきましたので、感染予防対策として入場条件を提示したうえで、できるだけ多くのお客様に来場いただけるようPRしながら、オフラインイベントを開催することとしました。  
今回はパートナー企業が12社となり、900名の来場を目標に集客を行いました。当初はなかなか集客がうまく進まなかったのですが、パートナー企業からも予想以上に参加していただき、最終的に1,400名の方にご来場いただくことができました。昨年より遥かに大きな規模でイベントを実現でき、無事 成功裏に終わっております。

**--- EventRegist導入にいたった理由を教えて下さい。**

私どもホリゾンは、印刷業界内で、印刷工場の自動化を提唱する企業としても定評をいただいております。イベントにも「Smart Factory」という名称をつけており、その名の下に、展示会においても自動化を感じていただけるような、イベント名称に恥じないシステムを探していました。

要件として、QRコードなどでの入場方法が必須と考えていました。また、メールなどを使った情報配信が可能で、分かりやすくどなたでも使える、という視点でサービスの選定をしました。  
さらに、コスト面も重視しました。今までイベントを開催してきた経験の中で、カスタマイズしてオーダーメイドのサービスを使ったこともありましたが、他のイベントに流用できず、追加オーダーすると費用がかかるという問題がありましたので、カスタマイズせずともイベントのシステムとして整っているサービスを探していました。  
他社サービスとも比較検討し、総合的に見てイベントレジストさんのシステムが良好かと思い、導入を決定いたしました。

【本イベントでご利用いただいたプレミアム機能】

[タイムテーブル機能](https://support.eventregist.com/ja/knowledge/timetable)  
複数のセッションが同時並行で開催されるイベントの、タイムテーブルを作成できる機能です。複数の会場や時間帯の設定、セッションごとの申込数管理が可能です。  
今回のイベントでは、並行して3つのコースで行われた工場見学や、セッションへの参加を選択できるよう設定されました。

申込時に自社独自で取得したい項目を、入力フォームへ追加設定することが可能な、独自アンケート項目の作成機能です。（5設問まで）  
今回のイベントでは、ワクチン接種を2回受けているかどうかのアンケートを設定されました。

**--- 実際にEventRegistを使ってみていかがでしたか？良かった点、困った点などがあれば教えてください。**

良かった点として、設定面では、テンプレートとして構築されている基本的な部分がわかりやすく、マニュアルを見なくても設定できたことや、職場でもテレワークでも場所を問わず、どのPCからでも管理画面にログインして設定できる点が使いやすかったです。  
来場の条件として重要だった「ワクチンを2回接種しているかどうか」については、独自フォーム機能で、申込み時のアンケートとして情報取集ができた点も、高く評価しています。入場受付時のQRコードの読み込みも、スムーズにできました。

困った点としては、お一人で複数名分まとめて申込みがあった時に、申込者ご本人以外の参加者の方には、チケットがメール送信されない点です。その仕様を事前に把握できておらず、申込み受付を開始してから判明したため、どのように対応すればよいかという面でかなり苦労しました。  
イベントレジストさんに対応方法をご相談しながら、新着情報投稿機能で、申込者から参加者宛にメールを転送していただくよう、追加のご案内を行いましたが、やはりイベント当日にチケットを持参されない方もいらっしゃいましたので、入場受付ではその対応が必要となりました。  
今後は、申込者以外の方にはメールが送られないことが、わかりやすく表示されるように改善されると、混乱をおさえられるように思います。

追加で欲しい機能としては、QRコードを読み取ったときに、アラートが出ると便利だと思いました。たとえば、今回の入場条件として、ワクチンを2回接種されているかどうかが重要でしたので、QRコードを読み取ったときに「2回接種しているか／YES・NO」がパッと表示されると、よりスムーズに受付ができたと思います。  
また、参加者の情報を出力する際に、必要な情報だけをダウンロードすることができず、抽出したデータを加工して絞り込む必要があったので、そのあたりも改善されるとありがたいです。

--- ありがとうございます。システムから参加者宛にメール送信できない点については、十分なご説明ができておらず、申し訳ございませんでした。参加者にメール送信されないことをわかりやすく表示するよう、すでに検討を始めております。また、追加機能のご要望をいただいた点についても、社内で共有し検討して参ります。

  
**--- 今後どのようなイベントを開催していきたいですか？**

次回は、再来年2023年の開催が決定しています。来年2022年には、印刷業界として国内でいちばん大きな「IGAS」というイベントが開催されるため、弊社のイベントは再来年に行うこととしました。  
その頃にはコロナ禍も落ち着いていると思いますので、世界からお客様を招きたいと思っています。2019年の開催時には、海外から2,000名の方をお招きした実績がありますが、次回はさらに大きなイベントを開催する予定ですので、さらに多くの方にご来場いただきたいと思っています。

また、今回のイベントでは、オフラインでの展示会を主としつつ、並行してセミナーのオンライン配信や、47本のライブデモ配信を行いました。配信自体は非常に大変な思いをしましたが、6,000名もの多くの方にご視聴いただき、オンラインのメリットも感じましたので、オンライン配信の部分も、次回に向けてアップデートしていきたいと思います。

 

**--- あなたにとってイベントとは？**

コロナ禍を経験して強く感じるのは、イベントはお客様と繋がれる場所、ということです。今回のイベントは、コロナ禍が落ち着いてから初めて、印刷業界内で大きく開催したオフラインイベントでしたが、特に機械のイベントは、実物に触れてみないとわからない点も多いため、お客様にとても喜ばれました。また、パートナー企業との横のつながりを保てるという意味でも、イベントは貴重な機会だと改めて実感しています。

編集後記

コロナ禍におけるイベント開催にあたり、日にち毎の申込制限や、ワクチン接種に関する設問項目を細かく設定されるなど、安心・安全な運営を実現されていた点を強く感じました。また、集客面で掲げられていた目標人数に到達し、大規模な開催での申込・来場受付をサポートできたことを、嬉しく思っております。

EventRegistは英語対応も可能なシステムですので、国内・海外からの申込受付を併せて実現することができます。  
まだまだ予断が許されない状況ですが、日本全国、世界各地から参加者が集うイベントの未来を楽しみにしながら、主催者様の課題解決に励んでいきたいと改めて感じました。
