2015/10/22（木）～10/24（土）、サンテック・シンガポール国際会議展示場で開催された日本食産業見本市「Oishii JAPAN」の様子をレポートします。
### Oishii JAPANとは？
Oishii JAPANは、ASEAN市場最大の日本食に特化した見本市です。日本全国から選りすぐりの食材を持つ企業が、アジア進出を目指して出展し、多くの現地の日本食従事者、日本食ファンを惹きつけています。
今年で4回目を迎え、年々その活況さを増しているイベントです。
22日、23日の2日間はASEAN市場の商品開発者、食品・飲料、仕入れ責任者との商談の場として、また最終日である24日は一般来場者向けにバラエティ豊かな日本食材が展示されます。
### 出展ブース紹介
展示会場内には日本全国から運ばれた食材のおいしい香りが漂い、あちこちで試食の行列ができていて、活気が感じられます。今回は一部の出展企業をご紹介します。
「和牛」はシンガポールだけでなくアジアでも大人気。常に試食の為の長蛇の行列ができています。複数のブースが各地の和牛を展示しており、その場で購入する方の姿も見受けられました。
こちらのブースではとちぎ和牛をPR。
群馬県ブースでは、赤米と古代米、触感の異なる二種類のお米を紹介。
北海道から出展している「おたるダイニング」は、健康思考が高まりつつあるアジア市場に対して、砂糖と小麦を一切使用していない糖質制限スイーツで進出を狙います。
堺刃物がずらりと並べられた堺市のブースでは、包丁を研ぐデモが行われていました。包丁と一緒に砥石も購入するプロの料理人の方が多いそうです。
加工食品の展示が多い中、生野菜や果物を展示する出展社も。
世界でも市民権を得ている”SAKE”はシンガポールでも大人気。各地の日本酒が試飲できます。
日本酒以外のアルコールも多数出展。ジャスミンフレーバーのリキュールは東南アジアマーケット向けに開発されたものだそうです。
近年、日本で人気のクラフトビールはシンガポールでも市民権を得ているそうで、軽井沢の地ビールの評判も上々とのことでした。
アジアに日本食の美味しさと文化を伝える見本市、Oishii JAPAN。ぜひ足を運び、アジアでの日本食の人気ぶりを肌で感じてみて下さい。
また、アジア進出を目指している食品関係の企業の方は、ぜひ出展を検討してみてはいかがでしょうか。
