前回に続き、イベント主催者の方々・イベント マーケティングに携わる方々や、イベント業界の方々を対象として開催したBACKSTAGE（[http://backstage.tours](http://backstage.tours/)）での工夫について紹介します。

今回は、BACKSTAGEならではの雰囲気づくりについてお話しします。

### BACKSTAGEの魅力とは？

- BACKSTAGEはイベント終了後、参加者の方々によく「BACKSTAGEのあの雰囲気」という言い方をされます。「学び＋ネットワーキング」という一見固いテーマを掲げていましたが、  
  「あまり日本のイベントでは感じられないような、肩の力が抜けた加減のスタイルに好感が持てました。」  
  「プログラムも複数パネルでのカジュアルトーク風が多くで聞きやすかったです。」  
  「どれも現場感満載でよかったです。」  
  などのご意見にみえる「BACKSTAGE」の独特の雰囲気が有用な「学び＋ネットワーキング」を実現したと思います。
  
  主催者×スピーカー×スポンサー×来場者、各々が各々を刺激誘発して醸成されたBACKSTAGEならではの雰囲気がどのようにして生まれたのか？ヒントを少しご紹介します。

### 登場する本人も驚く、スピーカーの登場演出

- - 格闘技イベントの登場の様に、激しい音楽の中、レニー・ハートさんによるスピーカーのお名前の読み上げとともに会場中央でスポットライトを浴びて登場。ステージまで歩いていくという登場演出でした。

      スピーカーご本人たちも最初は驚いていたものの、緊張しつつもノリノリでポーズを決めて登場くださいました。  
      ここではあくまでも「派手な登場」を推奨しているわけではありません。
      
      聴講者からも「いいぞ！」等の掛け声が飛ぶなどの前のめりな期待感がスピーカーに伝わり、話しやすい空気感をその場にいた全員で創り出していました。その空気感から、スピーカーの話す熱量が増し、聴講者がさらに食い入る、という良いスパイラルが生まれ、聴講者の中にすっと入り込み、「学び」に深く繋がった様に思えます。

### おやつの配布 

開演前からポップコーンとチョコレート、前説の中ではハイチュウを配布していました。特にポップコーンは映画館を連想させるようで、ポップコーン片手の聴講者は無意識にリラックスしていた様子でした。

終日コーヒーを含めたこうしたおやつを場内の至る所で自由に手に取っていただける形で提供していたため、お菓子を片手に商談といった風景も見られ、「売り込まれる」「売ってやる」ではない雰囲気で話して頂いた結果、本音で一歩踏み込んだ話ができたのかもしれません。

いかがでしたでしょうか？イベント毎に事情は異なりますが、一見派手さのみに見えるパフォーマンスや仕掛けも実は雰囲気づくりの大事な要素だと改めて感じました。
