今回はEventRegistのご活用事例として、このイベントの運営などを担当されていた、ロボットスタート株式会社の北構武憲氏、旭利明氏に、イベントレジストのご利用についてお話を伺いました。

 

ロボットスタート株式会社は、ロボットに関連するアプリ開発、コンサルティング事業などを主軸にサービスを展開する、ロボットパイオニアフォーラム運営事務局の幹事団の1社です。

 

### 今までにないロボット業界の時代の流れを感じて

**- 今回、「ロボットパイオニアフォーラム」を開催することになったきっかけを教えてください。**

元々の知り合いであった、アスラテック株式会社の羽田氏と、株式会社アールティの中川氏と話していて、「ロボット業界は今まで何度か世間から注目されていたが、今回は今までとは違った時代の流れを感じた」ことに意気投合し、ロボットにまつわる関係者が、自由に意見交換ができるようなイベントをしてみようということがきっかけとなりました。

### 参加者管理と集金を効率的で安心に使用したかった

**- なぜイベントレジストを使おうと思ったのでしょうか。**

2015年2月に初めて「ロボットパイオニアフォーラム001」というイベントを開催したのですが、あっという間に80人の申込みがありました。また、当日想像以上に参加者同士の熱気を感じ、この熱気をもっと広げたい、大きくしたいとの思いから、2回目は1回目より規模を大きくし、開催することにしました。

 

イベレジのサービス自体は知っていました。今回イベントを主催するにあたり、1回目のイベントでは、参加者を紙のリストでチェックし、当日受付で参加費を現金でやり取りをしていました。今回は、効率良くさらに安心して利用できるようにするため、イベントレジストを利用しようと思いました。今後このイベント自体も規模も大きくなり、参加者人数も多くなると予測しているので、管理をスムーズにするためにも将来を見越して利用することに至りました。

**- 実際にイベレジを使ってみて、いかがでしたか？**

非常にわかりやすく、感覚的に利用することができました。

途中、操作でわからないところがあっても、ヘルプページを読めばすぐに理解できたので、特に不便を感じることは、ありませんでした。また、参加者の方からも特にイベレジを使用するにあたっての抵抗感や問合せもなく、スムーズにイベント当日を迎えることができました。

 

### チェックインアプリで出席状況もリアルタイムに把握

**- 当日の受付はいかがでしたか？**

参加者は、PDFの参加チケットにあるQRコードをスマートフォンで提示するケース、イベレジの参加者アプリを提示するケース、紙で印刷したチケットを提示するケースと、3種の方法で参加者ご自身が自分にあった方法でチケットをお持ちになりましたが、イベレジのチェックインアプリで問題なくスムーズに対応できました。

 

また、当日チケットを忘れてしまった方への対応として、受付側で使用していたイベレジのチェックインアプリにある「リストからチェックイン」で参加者の名前を検索することもでき、その場でチェックをすることができたので、参加者にストレスをかけることなく受付ができました。

また、チェックインアプリでは、当日の参加者のチェックイン状況も把握できたのも良かったです。チェックインアプリを持っているスタッフ全員を共有しながらイベントの開演時間の調整することができました。もし、今回のイベントを前回のように紙で参加者管理をしていたり、当日受付で現金のやりとりをしていたら、受付に時間がかかってしまい、予定の時間通りにイベントが開催できなかったかもしれません。

 

当日の現金のやりとりが発生しないことは、おつりに気を配ったり、現金を管理するセキュリティ上の心配もなかったので、心理的不安も軽減されました。

 

また、領収書の準備を当日する必要がなかったのも良かったです。

なにより、アプリ自体のUIが優れていて、はじめてチェックインアプリを使用するにも、何も迷うことなく利用できたのがよかったです。

 

### イベントだからできる、コミュニケーションがある

**- ロボットスタートさんにとって、イベントとはどのようなものですか。**

一言にロボットといっても、関連する領域は幅広いと思います。イベントを開催すると、ソフトウェアやハードの技術者の方はもちろん、研究者、学生、メディアなど、非常に多岐にわたるジャンルの方が集まることになり、会場で意見交換することによってお互いに刺激を受けてシナジー効果が生まれたり、それぞれの専門分野での知見も広がると思います。

またイベントは、オンライン上ではなかなか話せない、現場だけでしか話すことができないここだけの話ができたり、もう一歩踏み込んだ話ができたりします。イベントの重要性は非常に感じていて、これからもこうしたイベントを継続していきたいと考えています。
